After waiting for 3 months - the crib finally arrived this week. Gilbert and his friend John went to pick it up from the warehouse on Friday evening. The box was HUGE. Thank goodness John brought one of his teenage sons along to help! The box was so overwhelming and Gilbert was pretty tired from the week, so we decided that we would wait until Sunday to assemble. The crib came with all the pieces needed to convert it into a toddler and full-size bed, so it took a few minutes to figure out what parts went with what stage!

Putting it together. We tested out the baby monitor since I was in a different room and Gilbert periodically needed my help. It worked great!
While Gilbert worked on the crib, I worked on the diaper bags. Guess which one is mine??

The room looks beautiful. Did you get that curtain rod at Target? I think it is the same as in Miss Sophie's room.

The room looks great! Sexy and Elegant! Gilbert, how many days did it took you to get the bed together? I say 5days - 1 day to read the instructions, 1 day to understand what you read, and 3 days to put it together, especially when you have to take it apart at least twice as you scratch your head, wondering where the hicabadoodle/whatshamacallit that is in your hand, goes. Not to mention the extra nuts and bolts laying on the floor!
