On Wednesday afternoon Eva and I went over to the Cissells to play outside. As always, the girls had a great time together.

Job Fair

This morning I got dressed up for the job fair. Overall I was glad I went, although it was frustrating. Most of the banks I spoke with were not hiring and some were not even accepting resumes. Makes you wonder why they were even there?? I am still keeping the faith that the right job is out there for me.

It was fun putting on makeup and getting dressed up - as oftentimes I stay in my pjs all day. Here are a few pictures of me when I got home. I missed my little girl!

When we started to give Eva a pacifier, I already worried about how we would get her off of it once she became older. Turns out I shouldn't have worried because about a month or so ago she decided that she didn't want it anymore. Today she found one in my bedside drawer. It kept her entertained for a few minutes....

Last night when Gilbert got home from work I asked him to check on Eva. This is what he saw.

Visit with Meme and Aunt Michele

Last Sunday Gilbert, Eva and I went over for lunch since my Aunt Michele was in town. We had a wonderful time together and look forward to her return visit in May.

Gifts from Grandma

Gilbert's Mom sent Eva a package filled with all kinds of goodies. She had a great time opening it and going through everything. Thanks Grandma!!

Disclaimer - Our bedroom and bathroom are a disaster. It is what happens when you have kids. Time for cleaning and organizing goes out the window...

Growing Up

Eva took her first steps on Tuesday. She walked a few times throughout the day and was quite pleased with herself. She hasn't done it since, but I am sure it is just a matter of time before she remembers that she can walk!!

She loves to play her version of hide and seek. If I open the bedroom door she will take off across the hall to either the guest room or her bedroom and wait for me to come and get her. She also likes to crawl inbetween furniture and peek up at me. She is a super fast crawler!!

She walks around her learn and groove music table and gets so excited that she starts breathing funny - almost like a snort. She really likes the mobility thing...

Eva loves to do everything by herself. She wants to feed herself and hold a cup herself. Last night she filled a cup in the bathtub up with water and tried to drink it! She really observes and mimics from that. On Monday she watched Sophia playing with a clapper toy and then went over and knew just what to do with it to make noise.

I am worried about finding a job, but so blessed at the same time to be able to have this special time at home with Eva.

Cousins

On Monday evening we headed over to Amy and Cory's. I made my homemade pizza (so good) and we wanted to see Issac and play with Sophia.

These are actually pictures from Sunday when Sophia came over to play. I gave the girls an Oreo. I think they liked it!

In the car. Eva has been HORRIBLE about being in her carseat lately. She will cry the whole time. I kept her entertained by letting her take my sunglasses on and off my face.

I don't know how professional photographers do it. It was so tough to get the 2 girls to look at the camera. Isaac of course was perfect.

Perfection. I can't get over how tiny he is and that I had a baby that was even smaller. He is such a sweet baby!
